Annual Diamond Raffle

The 2008 Diamond Raffle is well underway. In partnership with Kiess Jewelry of Coldwater, the club is please to offer a 3/4 carat diamond necklace. The club is working very hard to sell all 10,000 tickets. This year's raffle will be held at Altrusa's program meeting December 3rd. Tickets cost $10 for 10 tickets and can be purchased from any Altrusa member or by sending an e-mail Sara Roper and she will contact you.

The proceeds from this project all go into Altursa's community service projects that benefit all of Branch County.

In 2006, Altrusa made the decision to add a Cookbook Project as an additional fundraiser for the club. A committee was formed and began work on what later became the "Hometown Favorites" cookbook. All members were asked to submit their favorite recipes. The book has been published and is available for $10. If you would like to order a book, please e-mail Sara Roper.
The cookbook was made possible with the help of the following sponsors: Royal Chevrolet-Cadillac, Southern Michigan Bank & Trust, Century Bank & Trust and Barone-Dutcher Funeral Home.

Altrusa Golf Scramble

For the past 8years, the club has organized, promoted and directed a golf scramble. About 30 teams participate in the event which is held at one of the local golf courses. Local businesses contribute with tee and cart sponsorships and door prizes. The outing includes special event holes and of course prizes for the winning teams.
